This website

readercount.com is run by KT8 in the United Kingdom. We count visits to this website with ReaderCount itself, so we use no cookies and keep no personal data about visitors. We see things like which pages were read, the country, the type of device, and which site sent you here.

The waiting list

If you join the waiting list, we keep your email address, the website address you gave us (if any) and the date you joined. We use them only to tell you when ReaderCount opens. We don't share them or sell them. They're stored with Cloudflare, which hosts this website.

To be removed, or to ask what we hold about you, email privacy@kt8.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

How ReaderCount treats your readers

When a website uses ReaderCount, its readers aren't given cookies and nothing is stored on their devices. Each visit is turned into a scrambled code made from a secret that changes every day, the website, the reader's IP address and their browser. The secret is deleted each night, so a reader can't be followed from one day to the next. IP addresses are never stored.

What is kept: the page address, the referring site, campaign tags, the country, the type of device, browser and operating system, time on the page, and the addresses of links clicked.
